Welcome to the Hampton Roads 2006 Mommies play group!!! We are fun loving, energetic and an eager group ready to learn and play. Our goal is to socialize our children with other's in their age range, all the while making life long friendships with other Mommies! Our group is about supporting each other in our quest for positive parenting and natural living. Common shared interests tend to include: breastfeeding, child led weaning, babywearing, gentle discipline, cloth diapering, homeschooling and other alternative educations, cosleeping, and other permutations of natural living and AP parenting. We all approach these topics at different places and levels, but these tend to arise as common trends. So it's not a checklist, but a tendency among families. …

This Group is for Young moms (under 30) and kids (under 7) looking to make friends while letting the kids play. Lets get the kiddos together and play while us moms can have grown up time to vent, get advice and share happiness. Why not being an awesome mom while making friends and having fun:) We will have play dates for the kiddos but also some kid free mommy time...if this sounds like something for you lets get together!
